Consignment Agreement
The following are the terms of consignment with Fashion Exchange of Gainesville:
- You will receive 40% of the selling price of all items. The term of the consignment agreement is 90 days.
- Fashion Exchange sets the prices for all items. Items will be discounted throughout the term in order to sell. The discounts are 25% after 45 days and 50% after 70 days.
- Items not picked up by the end of the consignment term will become the property of the store. You will need to call at least 10 days PRIOR to the end of the consignment term if you wish to collect any unsold items. These cannot be pulled without notice.
- Any item that has been accepted and later found to have a defect of any kind will be donated before the end of the term. No money will be paid for the item.
- Any items not accepted for consignment must be picked up within 24 Hours of notification to pick them up or they will be donated.
- Payment checks may be picked up at any time during Business hours; Management will determine if cash will be paid on any amount due over $10.00.
- This is a retail store and things happen to the merchandise. Fashion Exchange cannot be held responsible for any item stolen, lost or damaged.
- All Accounts that are inactive for more than 9 months will be closed and all money owed will be deleted. It is your responsibility to claim money prior to this status. No payment of any kind will be automatically initiated.
